Yoga is a tool for you to chllenge yourself, give yourself love, and practice self-maintenance in a way you deserve. Holding stillness in the body, alongside focusing on the breath, reflects stillnes toward the mind. The movement and stretching of the body creates a flow of energy, which is felt afterwards. Lethargic and ‘meh’ moods begin to move and clear in the flow you create with yoga.

When you begin to calm your mind and move the energy throughout your body, you aid in the process of balancing your entire system. This creates an environment that helps to allow you clear old traumas, energies, negative thoguths, and doubts/beliefs that don’t serve you. This approach of balancing also creates an environment for the spiritual that’s already within to shine through more and more. Much like a plant, feeding it sunlight, water, fresh air, and being well taken care of with kindness and love. You create the environment for a flower to bloom.

Inner Garden

I have been to the edge of many points in my life, edge of anxiety, the edge of a falling relationship, and pushed to the edge of inner turmoil. I wanted a change, my soul craved a change. The environment of the military combined with a bad LSD trip incited my internal environment to manifest into a living hell. A cocktail of anxiety and trauma made me reject things inside, and in turn rejecting the many parts of life that I would begin and continue to open to…….

Yoga is a tool for unity. A tool to loosen the struggling habits of mind, and allow the mind to flow in alignment with your authentic self. Helping us guide the darkest parts of ourselves we don’t accept, into the light. These parts are not inherently dark; they are our own unique denial and resistances that are shoved into the “darkness.”

When you practice yoga, you practice compassion; facing inner resistance with that more accepting environment. Allowing and feeling safe to feel and release. As a result, the light of spirit starts to shine though more and more. Connecting to silence, aling with the acceptance of our humanity, opens us to the deeper parts of our being and connection we long for.
